Turning sales operations into a rule-driven platform.

Built backend capabilities for accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, quotes, campaigns, territories, products, and configurable pipeline boards. The work centered on converting evolving business policies into maintainable application behavior.

Key engineering decisions

  • Modeled Kanban moves with transition validation, idempotency, rank ordering, and audit history.
  • Implemented territory and assignment rules with schedule checks and duplicate-assignee protection.
  • Kept API, service, mapping, persistence, and rule-evaluation responsibilities clearly separated.

02 Ticketing system

Making support operations measurable and assignable.

Developed a ticketing backend covering intake, triage, comments, forwarding, team operations, notifications, metadata, and service-performance tracking. The system needed to route work fairly while preserving a clear operational history.

Key engineering decisions

  • Designed least-loaded team routing, absence-reliever behavior, and workload updates.
  • Implemented SLA and KPI tracking alongside activity logs, flags, and configurable fields.
  • Split assignment, forwarding, feedback, workload, and metadata into focused services.

Make states, transitions, permissions, failure paths, and invariants visible before the code spreads them everywhere.

Use transactions, idempotency, validation, audit records, and carefully owned data to keep changes explainable.
